UNIVERSAL JOULE METER

The joultimeter is the only pocket device capable of measuring the shock (amount of energy in joules - DIGITALLY ) felt by an animal touching any electric fence. It can also measure the approximate voltage. The device is used in the following way to measure the energy in joules (J) or millijoules (mJ) : Insert the probe in the ground to simulate the contact of the 4 legs of the animal and wet the ground in case of sandy soil. Hold the fork on the conductor for at least 4 seconds. In this way you will be able to read the energy value on the display digitally. The voltage value (volts (v) ) on the UNIVERSAL joule meter is indicated on the bargraph.
