SUEVIA Thermo Source drinkers are very well insulated drinkers, made of high quality UV-resistant polyethylene, which provide frost-protected water without the need for electricity. The perfect insulation prevents the temperature from dropping and the water in the drinker from freezing even at extremely low temperatures. The water supply line should be placed at a frost-free depth, valid for your area. The "earth-warm" water (in winter approx. 6 °C) is supplied to the heated drinking trough via the high-capacity MAXIFLOW float valve (up to 40 l/min) installed in the middle of the trough. The water level can be adjusted at the MAXIFLOW float valve. The fact that the animals are constantly drinking from the trough ensures a continuous renewal of the "earth-warm" water in the trough. We recommend Thermo Source troughs in particular for those cases where no electricity is available in the barn.
