Inside the Vacuette® serum tubes, a coagulation activator is dispensed on the walls, which is composed of micronized silica particles that accelerate the coagulation process after homogenizing the sample with the additive. The main component of this activator is SiO2. Our serum tube facilitates rapid clot retraction, and in a large percentage of cases the clot is located at the bottom of the tube.
