This model with maximum and minimum temperature recording has a 10 cm stainless steel penetration probe with a 1 meter cable and a 1 second response time and a protective sleeve on the piercing part of the probe. Its temperature sensor operates in a range of -50 to +300°C or -58 to 572°F. The instrument incorporates the HOLD function that keeps a temperature on the display for easy reading. The calibration of this instrument is guaranteed thanks to its calibration function, just place the probe in a mixture of water and ice at 0°C, the display should show a temperature between -5 and 5°C, then press and hold the CAL button for 2 seconds and it will be set to 0.0°C. The model automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity to extend battery life. The bracket on the back allows the thermometer to be placed on any surface, it also has an opening for wall mounting and magnets to attach it to metal surfaces.
